I created The Walking Dead as a student project in 2021 for SAE Institute Zürich. The focus was on artificial intelligence. Enemies should use finite state machines to change their actions like patrolling or chasing. The project should also include triggers and interactions for opening doors.

The goal is to reach the end of the level without getting caught by the undead. If you reach a green safezone, the undead will freeze their movement. The game contains two levels.

Controls:

Move: W, S

Run: Hold Shift and W

Look left / right: A, D or Mouse

Interact: E

Jump: Space

Attack: Left Click

Attack is a bit hard to time. And I'd prefer toggle run/walk. Nice game tho. Now everybody say "chuchichäschtli" j/k

Thank you for the feedback :) yes since attack is not necessary in the game, the mechanic is a bit rough. Toggle run is definitely a good point, user should have a option to choose between toggle and hold
